WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. – The all-clear was given at Winter Springs High School, which had been evacuated Monday morning because of a bomb threat, according to officials.
Winter Springs police said students and staff were removed from the school because of the threat. Video from Local 6 helicopter Sky 6 showed students sitting on bleachers at the football field, with police cars outside the school.
Police said they used bomb-sniffing dogs from Orlando International Airport, the Orland-Sanford International Airport and the University of Central Florida to search every room of the school. The all-clear was later issued, allowing students to return to class.
No other details have been released.
