Arrest made in shooting at Orlando nightclub

26-year-old taken to ORMC in stable condition

ORLANDO, Fla. – A 26-year-old man was arrested Friday on allegations of shooting a man in the legs during a confrontation outside a downtown Orlando nightclub, according to police.

Adam Manaiza was arrested on charges of attempted murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Orlando police said Manaiza is in the Seminole County Jail on unrelated charges and will be transferred to the Orange County Jail.

Police said they were called to a shooting around 3:35 a.m. Wednesday and found the victim near 30 W. Pine St. near Orange Avenue. Police said the shooting stemmed from a confrontation in the parking lot east of Back Booth Night Club.

The 26-year-old victim, whose name has not been released, was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center in stable condition.
