Video: Employees held at gunpoint during paintball facility armed robbery

Masked men have not been identified

ORLANDO, Fla. – Three employees at an Orlando paintball facility were forced on the ground and held at gunpoint during an armed robbery early Sunday morning, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

Employees at Orlando Paintball were cleaning up around 5 a.m. when two masked men entered holding guns. One man forced an employee to his knees while the other jumped over the counter and forced another employee to open the register, surveillance video shows.

The video shows an employee putting handfuls of cash from the register into a bag.

"I don't even care about it for the fact that no lives were taken, that's all I care about. It's a very small amount," Orlando Paintball owner Spiros Kodounis said.

The masked men rummage around behind the counter before exiting the building through the rear entrance. The robbers have not been identified.

Sunday's armed robbery was the first at the business in almost three decades, Kudounis said.

Several customers were using paintball guns at their business when the two gunmen entered and demanded money.

"They probably came by. They saw that we were open and they thought, 'why not.' That's what I think," Kodounis said. "We've obviously boosted our security systems. We've changed our procedures. We value the safety of our customers and our staff."

The Orange County Sheriff's Office said that high quality surveillance video helps with their investigation. The full surveillance video is available below.

"It's very good surveillance video. They have a very good camera system, so our detectives are working on reviewing all the video, all the video that they have and to hopefully be able any leads," said Rose Silva with OCSO. "We always ask anybody that finds themselves in these situations to just comply and you know do what they are told in order to avoid any injury."

Kodounis said investigators were able to collect DNA evidence, as well as video of a possible suspect vehicle. He said he not only wants them caught, but also wants them to learn a lesson.

So far, no arrests have been made.
