#DressLikeAWoman: Social media responds to President Trump's dress code

What does a woman dress like?

President Trump pays close attention to his employees appearances, according to a former campaign staffer.

A report published by Thursday by political news startup Axios said Trump expects his staff and cabinet to "look the part." Men must be “sharply dressed,” and women should “dress like women.”

The unnamed source told Axios that Trump, a former television host  and business mogul, requires a certain look.

"If you're going to be a public person for him, whether it's a lawyer, or representing him in meetings, then you need to have a certain look. That look -- at least for any male — you have to be sharply dressed. Preferably, I would say, solid colors. … You should have a good physical demeanor, good stature, hair well groomed."

Sharply dressed is easily understood, but what does a woman dress like?

Social media quickly responded with the answer. Working women wear space suits, Supreme Court justice robes, fire hats, U.S. Air Force jump suits and surgery scrubs.

Women can dress like Jedi, NASA mathematicians calculating a mission to the moon, a Nobel Peace Prize winner and the First Lady of the United States.

Basically, women can wear whatever they need to work and get the job done.

Social media users have been sharing photos of working women with #DressLikeAWoman.

Women's clothing company Wildfang posted images of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, U.S. Soccer player and Olympian Megan Rapinoe, Hidden Figures actress Janelle Monae and Beyonce.

Astronauts dress like women, too.

And surgeons.

And Nobel laureates.

The become U.S. Air Force captains.
