A landscaper in Grosse Ile, Mich. said they were having a hard time finding disinfectant and personal protection equipment. “If I have all the PPE, it would be easier (to reopen),” they wrote. But they also said they were ready to open “today.”
Nearly all respondents said they had a hard time finding disinfectant, while several others said they couldn’t find the masks or shields they need.
A restaurant in Jacksonville, Fla. reported said hand sanitizer has hard to find. “No sanitizers or disinfectant products available in stores or online,” the owner wrote. “We need to provide these to our employees as well as customers.”
A salon in San Antonio, Texas said they had a hard time finding all needed supplies to reopen. They said it’s critical they reopen. “I have NO INCOME coming in,” they wrote.
Meanwhile, a restaurant in San Antonio said they hope to reopen within two weeks -- if they can find hand sanitizer and disinfectant spray.
Asked how they’re finding supplies, they replied: “By any means necessary! Vendors, supply stores, personal home supply.”
