BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – Investigators in Lauderhill say police have stepped up patrols in a neighborhood where a well-dressed man, armed with a machete, has been showing up on residents’ doorbell cameras in the middle of the night.
Videos appear to show the man knocking on doors, in at least one instance with the handle of the machete, but neighbors say the man takes off before anyone can answer.
