DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Daytona Beach police are investigating a crash involving three cars, two motorcycles and a pedestrian, the Daytona Beach Police Department said.
Crews went to the intersection of Main Street and Halifax Avenue just before 7 p.m. Saturday for the crash, which happened on the second night of Bike Week.

Daytona Beach police said investigation revealed that a car was driving north on Halifax Avenue when it rear-ended two motorcycles that were stopped at a traffic light. The driver continued through the intersection without stopping at the red light, hitting another motorcyclist, a pedestrian and two other vehicles before coming to a stop, police said.
The male and female motorcycle riders suffered serious leg injuries and were designated as trauma alerts, officials said. They were taken to a Halifax Hospital in stable condition.
The pedestrian suffered non-life-threatening injuries and refused to be transported to a hospital, police said.
Police said the driver of the vehicle did not show any signs of impairment and may have suffered from a medical condition. There are no criminal charges at this time, pending further investigation, police said.
