LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Changes are coming to Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios, beginning with a crucial part of the guest experience -- parking.
A new vehicle entrance opening Nov. 8 will alter how guests arrive and enter into the park, according to a post on Disney's official blog. The post's author, editorial content director Thomas Smith, said the remodeling precedes Hollywood Studios' 30th anniversary in 2019, which is expected to bring big changes to the park.

"Along with the work (on the park), we are also transforming the park’s arrival experience to make it easier and more convenient to come and go," Smith said.
Drivers will use the new entrance and exit on Osceola Parkway instead of the current main entrance off of World Drive. Vehicles traveling south on Victory Way will have a connecting road to lead to the new entrance.
Smith said the current entrance will be repurposed for staff member use while a satellite entrance on Buena Vista Drive will be designated for buses.
According to Smith, the changes won't be daunting for drivers who are used to the old setup.
"When the new entrance opens, drivers will just need to spot one of the many updated roadway signs throughout the Walt Disney World Resort to easily navigate to the Disney Hollywood Studios parking lot," Smith said.
