OCOEE, Fla. – A man faces charges after he pointed a gun at a driver and flashed a badge at the victim during a road rage confrontation in Ocoee, according to police.
Officers arrested Sean Mead, 36, following the confrontation on March 17.

Police said they responded to the area of South Kissimmee Avenue and Maguire Road following the incident where the victim told them a Dodge Ram 1500 pulled behind him with a small red and blue light on the front of the truck’s dashboard.
The victim pulled over, believing the truck was law enforcement, police said.

According to a news release, Mead pulled up next to the victim, presented a badge, pointed a handgun and identified himself as a police officer.
Police said Mead also displayed a ballistic vest with the word POLICE on it.
According to the release, detectives learned Mead worked as a security guard, and a search of his vehicle revealed police patches, nameplates and other law enforcement equipment.
Mead faces charges of aggravated assault with a firearm and impersonating an officer.
