ORLANDO, Fla. – A 19-year-old accused of shooting at two Orlando-area resorts with an AR-15 last December, injuring two women, has been found incompetent to stand trial.

Jailen Houston of Dallas, Georgia was arrested after deputies said he opened fire at the Westgate Lakes Resort and Spa, striking a woman, then driving to Marriott’s Cypress Harbour Villas and shooting another woman who was working as a security guard.

Deputies said Houston also shot into several apartments at a complex on Integra Cove Boulevard and then fired at two cars and a Mears bus at the intersection of Central Florida Parkway and Westwood Boulevard.

Investigators said they found Houston sitting on an I-4 guardrail with the rifle in the passenger seat of his car. They said Houston was in Orlando to enroll at a university and became frustrated when he believed he had been scammed while trying to check into the Westgate Lakes Resort.
