ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – A woman arrested Thursday is accused of fatally stabbing another woman late Tuesday at a gas station in Altamonte Springs, according to police.
The stabbing occurred around the side of the Circle K at 109 E. Altamonte Drive, police said.

Officers responded at 10:54 p.m. to a hospital where the victim had since been taken by a friend who was present during the altercation, described by police as an isolated incident in which the suspect and victim knew each other.
The victim — identified as 21-year-old Lakeira Hall, an employee of the Circle K who was working the night of the incident — was reportedly stabbed with a knife multiple times by Leanna Ramnarine, 19, during the dispute, according to police. Hall was pronounced dead shortly after being taken to the hospital.

Ramnarine was taken into custody on Thursday with the assistance of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Seminole County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Marshals Service, according to Altamonte Springs police. Described as homeless, Ramnarine was booked at the Seminole County Jail where she remains held without bond at the time of this report to face a charge of second-degree murder in Hall’s death.
