CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – A “FOR SALE” sign was placed on a Charlotte County deputy’s patrol car, according to the sheriff’s office on Monday.
In a release, deputies said that they “got a kick” out of the sign, which had been placed on the car’s windshield.

However, the sheriff’s office was “kinda disappointed” that the vehicle garnered such low interest, the release shows.
“Despite its high mileage and idling hours, this baby has lots of life left and plenty of stories to tell... This car has been through it all and keeps on going,” the release says. “Sure, the leg room in the back is minimal and the rear seats aren’t all that comfortable, but real friends sit up front anyway!”
Deputies also asked that people not continue to mess with the sheriff’s office’s vehicles.
