Marion County Sheriff’s Office searching for suspect in vehicle burglary

MARION COUNTY, Fla. – The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in searching for a suspected vehicle burglar.

According to a Facebook post, deputies responded to a home in the 2100 block of NE 52nd Street in Ocala to a report of a vehicle burglary on July 11.

The victim told deputies her dashcam captured video of the suspect who damaged her vehicle, entered it, and looked through her console and glovebox.

Deputies said nothing was stolen because valuables were not left in the vehicle. Since footage of the suspected criminal is high quality, deputies are confident someone will be able to identify him easily.
