Lighthouse Central Florida holding inaugural ‘Raising Our Sights’ breakfast event

CEO of Lighthouse Central Florida joins Breakfast with Bridgett

ORLANDO, Fla. – There are 12 million adults in the U.S. over the age of 40 living with vision impairments or blindness.

Every year in Orange, Seminole and Osceola Counties, Lighthouse Central Florida helps nearly 1,000 people with vision loss thrive.

Thursday on Breakfast with Bridgett, Kyle Johnson, the CEO of Lighthouse Central Florida, talked about the organization’s free rehab services and programs and invited the public to their inaugural breakfast benefit coming up next month.

On Sept. 13, the public is invited to the inaugural “Raising Our Sights” Breakfast featuring an immersive journey for attendees through moments in the life of a person with vision loss.

“It will be an immersive experiential morning for all of our guests. They will get to experience what our colleagues who are blind experience every day,” said Johnson.
