Elevated drive-thru Chick-fil-A (Chick-fil-A)

“Designed in an innovative way to expedite service, the Elevated Drive-Thru restaurant has four drive-thru lanes and a sophisticated conveyer belt system that streamlines food delivery by quickly moving the meal from the elevated kitchen above to a Team Member on the ground below,” a company news release reads.

Chick-fil-A said the kitchen is two times larger than a regular Chick-fil-A restaurant kitchen and the conveyor system will deliver food to a team member every 6 seconds.

The new restaurant is a drive-thru only location, so there is no dining room or dine-in services.

Because there are four drive-thru lanes, Chick-fil-A said it will serve two to three times more vehicles than a standard restaurant.

If you visit this location, you can order through the mobile app or place your order in the drive-thru lane.

There’s no word if or when the elevated restaurants will be coming to Florida.
