ORLANDO, Fla. – A 25-year-old man was shot and killed early Thursday at an Orlando apartment complex, police said.
Orlando police said Jefrey Concepcion died in the shooting, which was reported at 12:13 a.m. at the Regency Gardens Apartments on Rosebriar Way off Semoran Boulevard.
Police said officers were called to the apartments and found Concepcion in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound. Concepcion was taken to a hospital, where he died, police said.
Alex James Jones was later arrested on second-degree murder charges, police said.
Police said Jones was arguing with some people about a stolen shotgun when Jones shot Concepcion.
Jones was found by police at a nearby 7-Eleven, where he was taken into custody.
