MELBOURNE, Fla. – A judge is holding a hearing in October for Apollo 11 moonwalker Buzz Aldrin's lawsuit against his two children and former business manager.
The state judge in Florida's Space Coast said he will hear arguments on Oct. 15 on whether Aldrin's lawsuit should be put on hold while the former astronaut's mental acuity is evaluated.
Aldrin sued two of his adult children and a former business manager last month, accusing them of misusing his credit cards, transferring money from an account and slandering him by saying he has dementia.
Weeks before, Andrew and Jan Aldrin filed a petition claiming their 88-year-old father was suffering from memory loss, delusions, paranoia and confusion.
