ORLANDO, Fla. – Rock band REO Speedwagon is the latest to cancel a planned concert at SeaWorld because of fallout over a controversial documentary.

The band posted on it's Facebook and Twitter page Friday "Due to concerns regarding our February 16 appearance at SeaWorld, we have chosen to cancel the performance."

The band is the sixth to cancel appearances at the "Bands, Brew, and BBQ" concert series. Other acts to cancel include Willie Nelson, Heart, Cheap Trick, and the Barenaked Ladies.

The bands have been under pressure and have faced petitions online urging them not to perform at the park because of the documentary Blackfish.

The documentary focuses on killer whales in captivity and the 2010 death of a SeaWorld trainer.

In a previous statement, SeaWorld representatives said: "We're disappointed a small group of misinformed individuals was able to deny fans what would have been great concerts at SeaWorld."

SeaWorld has invited all of the musical acts to the park. Representatives say they want them to learn about SeaWorld's work and conservation efforts.

SeaWorld says work is underway to find replacement acts.
