One officer, identified by police as Mike Zambito, shot and killed Robertson, officials said.

BALDWIN PARK, Fla. A bicyclist was found dead Thursday morning in Orlando, police said. Authorities said officers were called to Lake Baldwin Lane and Lindale Avenue and found the cyclist lying in the road. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. ORLANDO, Fla. – Bright Horizons, one of the country's largest childcare providers, has settled negligence lawsuits filed by two families who claim their children were sexually molested by a former daycare employee, court records show. The terms of the settlements are confidential, court records indicate. At the same time, Bright Horizons was being sued in civil court, the childcare provider had been paying Hamilton’s criminal defense attorneys and legal expenses, a News 6 investigation revealed. Six months after his criminal case was closed, authorities arrested Hamilton for an unrelated child molestation incident that allegedly occurred in Virginia prior to his employment by Bright Horizons. A Bright Horizons spokesperson and an attorney representing the plaintiffs did not immediately respond to emails from News 6 inquiring about the lawsuit settlement.

The 2.6-mile walk raises money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. ORLANDO, Fla. – A jogger who was grabbed from behind at Baldwin Park scared away the culprit by screaming, according to the Orlando Police Department. Authorities said the woman was running along Lake Baldwin Lane near Ridley Avenue around 5:45 a.m. Friday when a 6-foot tall man grabbed the jogger from behind. Authorities said after speaking with the woman, they’ve determined there were no indicators to believe it was a sexual attack. Police said the man was wearing a dark blue T-shirt and shorts and had hair that was slightly shorter than shoulder-length. Jennifer Sheehan, who walks regularly at Baldwin Park, said she’s not likely to run or walk when it’s dark outside.
