The South Carolina Senate has approved a ban on gender-affirming care for transgender minors.

The South Carolina Democrat vying to oust Republican U.S. Sen. Tim Scott is facing calls from within her own party to fold her campaign, following the publication of additional leaked audio in which she appears to make disparaging remarks about her constituents.

The South Carolina Senate’s three Republican women all said they could not support an abortion ban that did not include exceptions for pregnancies caused by rape or incest.
