An administrator at Bunnell Elementary School, who had been on leave since a controversial assembly singled out Black students with low test scores has resigned, according to Flagler Schools.s.

The investigation coming to a close into the two Bunnell Elementary School leaders accused of isolating black students in an assembly to discuss low test scores, according to Superintendent Lashakia Moore.

The fallout is still settling after an assembly last month at Bunnell Elementary School that allegedly singled out Black students.

The principal and a teacher of Bunnell Elementary School have been put on paid leave while Flagler County’s school district investigates a recent and controversial student assembly.

A release shows that the assembly included 4th and 5th-grade students, and Flagler County School Board Chair Cheryl Massaro told News 6 that it was held for “African American students that scored below a three on testing.”
