The Seminole County school superintendent is urging parents to talk to their kids after two students at two different high schools were arrested Thursday, accused of having firearms on the campuses.

A search for a man who fled a traffic stop attempt forced Seminole High School in Sanford into lockdown Thursday.

Parents are urged to not come to the school to pick up their children, as the Code Yellow will continue through the rest of the school day, deputies said.
