A batch of new warning signs have been posted in Satellite Beach after a crocodile was seen with a dog in its mouth.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission estimated the number of Florida crocodiles have increased to as many as 1,500 to 2,000 adults, coming back from an estimated 300 in 1975.

The “Alligator Capitol of the World” is giving some of its animals, including alligators and crocodiles, some pumpkins to enjoy ahead of Halloween.

Gatorland is teaming up with a local artist to roll-out some unique crocodile t-shirts, with proceeds helping the Gatorland Global initiatives.
