Earthquakes have again struck Japan’s north-central region of Ishikawa that is still recovering from the destruction left by a powerful quake on Jan. 1.

The North American Soccer League was at the top of professional soccer in the United States well before Major League Soccer kicked off.

USGS data shows that several quakes were clustered along Florida’s northwest border, though the strongest ever reported was much closer to Central Florida.

While many people along the Space Coast felt the quake, its reach spread beyond just that region of the state.

ORLANDO, Fla. – Nearly 1,000 pounds of earthquake relief supplies were loaded on a plane bound for Puerto Rico on Tuesday. Volunteers from Latino Leadership, Inc. said they are distributing the essentials to families in some of the hardest hit areas near the city of Ponce. The supply effort also comes on the heels of unrest in Puerto Rico. Hundreds have protested after a warehouse filled with disaster supplies dating from when Hurricane Maria hit the island in September 2017 was recently discovered in Ponce. The supplies from Latino Leadership, Inc. are scheduled to be delivered Wednesday.
