The future first dog will be welcomed to the White House with his own ceremonial inauguration. Major will be stealing some of the spotlight from his human, president-elect Joe Biden later this month. The Delaware Humane Association is teaming up with Pumpkin Pet Insurance to host the virtual ‘indoguration’ to honor the nation’s first shelter dog to step into the role. Though Major is getting a lot of love ahead of his White House move-in, he won’t be the only canine to roam the West Wing. The Bidens also have Champ, another German shepherd who is no stranger to the White House lawns.
