After four Bernedoodle puppies were rescued from a hot car at Disney Springs, one has since died and the three survivors were adopted, according to Orange County Animal Services.

An infant girl died after she was left in a hot car outside a residence on the Northside, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

PANAMA CITY, Fla. – A newborn baby died after being left inside a hot car in Florida’s Panhandle, sheriff’s officials said. The Bay County Sheriff’s Office offered few details about the case on Thursday. Rescue crews were called to a home in Panama City late Wednesday after the baby was found inside the car. Sheriff’s officials said the baby had possibly been left inside the vehicle for several hours. The Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation, and will be speaking to witnesses to establish a timeline of events.

ORLANDO, Fla. – The former Orlando day care driver accused of killing a three-year-old boy after leaving him alone in a hot van will soon learn her fate, but not as soon as initially expected. The sentencing phase for Deborah St. Charles was scheduled for Monday morning but had to be rescheduled after the judge became sick, courthouse officials said. A new date for St. Charles’ sentencing has not been determined. "I understand from my negligence, but I never did something like this on purpose," St. Charles said. Orlando Police said she left three-year-old Myles Hill alone in a van outside of the Little Miracles Academy for more than 12 hours.
