A video tribute to the host closed Fridayโs episode of the quiz show, the final one that Trebek taped before pancreatic cancer claimed his life on Nov. 8. The week's final Trebek episodes began Monday with the host urging viewers to give to others who were suffering during the coronavirus pandemic. His final shows were originally scheduled to air Christmas week, but they were put off until this week to give the send-off more exposure.
Broadway shutdown due to virus extended again until January
NEW YORK The shutdown on Broadway has been extended again until at least early January. Although an exact date for performances to resume has yet to be determined, Broadway producers are now offering refunds and exchanges for tickets purchased for shows through Jan. 3. The Broadway experience can be deeply personal but it is also, crucially, communal, said Thomas Schumacher, chairman of the board of The Broadway League, which represents producers. Producers, citing health and city authorities, previously extended the shutdown to June 7 and then again to Sept. 6. Broadway grossed $1.8 billion last season and attracted a record 15 million people.

Hargrave is the latest in a lineage of stuntmen who have gone from stepping in for actors to directing them. It's a fairly recent career pathway thanks largely to the success of Chad Stahelski ("John Wick") and David Leitch ("Atomic Blonde"). They've been leaders in the field since founding the action design company 87Eleven in 1997.

The bushfires in Australia are still ravaging parts of the country and are wreacking havoc on small communities and rural towns. The damage has been devastating and news of the bushfires has spread overseas with many activists and celebrities sharing photos of the devastation on social media. There are many different places where you can donate money to help with relief, and many celebrities have shared donation links and even donated themselves. I am totally devastated watching what is happening in Australia right now with the horrific bushfires. Another Australian actor, Russell Crowe, who is in Australia right now, posted that he donated $105,000 to firefighters.
