Former Florida quarterback Jalen Kitna is heading to UAB in an attempt to resurrect his football career.

Ex-Florida quarterback Jalen Kitna, the son of retired NFL quarterback Jon Kitna, has agreed to a plea deal that will dismiss five felony child pornography charges stemming from his arrest last November.

"It’s a sad, tragic event for all the people involved," Napier said.

Florida has formally dismissed quarterback Jalen Kitna from the team following his arrest on five child pornography charges that police said included an image of a man having sex with a young girl.
