The newly inaugurated president moved to reverse four years of harsh restrictions and mass deportation with a plan for sweeping legislation on citizenship. In New York, Blanca Cedillos said she also was disappointed Biden did not mention immigration during the speech she watched with a half-dozen other masked immigrants at the Workers Justice Project. “Like thousands of mothers and fathers, I want for my daughters to have something better in this country,” Aguirre said.

The 13-minute video was uploaded to YouTube on Feb. 28 and has more than 151,000 views. The Miami-Dade County Public Schools has a problem with the video being filmed at the school, the Miami Herald reported. The school's basketball coach, Jacob Shaw, allowed Nass and her crew to use the gym for an unauthorized event, district spokeswoman Daisy Gonzalez-Diego told the Herald. Officials said the school’s principal, Maria Rodriguez, reported the incident to the district’s regional office the Monday after the video was filmed.
