Michael and Patricia received the free meals through the non-profit’s second annual Thanksgiving Project. Heart of Florida United Way President and CEO Jeff Hayward said they provided families everything they need for the meal. He adds the meal giveaway is just another way they’re doing their part.

The African American cemetery established in 1919 had fallen into disrepair as well, 157 veterans are buried there. The J.S Stone Cemetery is maintained by the community and the family members of those buried there. When Stone heard about the work Veterans Cemetery Restorations Inc. was doing nearby, she gave them a call. They did a wonderful job.”Rothschild says that between the two Brevard County cemeteries, Veterans Cemetery Restorations Inc. and their volunteers have removed 20 tons of trash and debris.

Iota slammed into Nicaragua as a strong category 4 hurricane just two weeks after Eta, also a category 4 hurricane devastated the country. Iota continued the already record-breaking streak of consecutive seasons with at least one category 5 hurricane. With Iota becoming a category 5 hurricane, the record has been extended to five straight seasons with a category 5 storm. Hurricane season officially runs through Nov. 30, but the season could linger into December much like it did in 2005.

Several months later, authorities positively identified the remains as Michael Shaver, her husband. Lake County deputies spoke to Laurie Shaver in early 2018 and she said she hadn’t seen him since 2015. Those friends and co-workers found this odd and did not think Michael Shaver would leave his children, according to the arrest affidavit. Laurie told her boyfriend Michael Shaver “wasn’t missing, he was no longer walking this earth," according to the arrest affidavit.

The White Sox believe they are poised for a turnaround after seven straight losing seasons. But losing Kopech for the season and Moncada for at least a little while are big blows. Both players had been absent since the White Sox resumed workouts last week for the first time since Major League Baseball shut down camps in March. Kopech was acquired by Chicago in the December 2016 trade that sent Chris Sale to the Boston Red Sox.
