Embattled Cocoa Beach Police Chief Scott Rosenfeld has reached a settlement agreement with the city to remain on a leave of absence for the next 14 months.

An attempt to oust the city manager of Cocoa Beach failed on Thursday evening after a “no confidence” vote went 3-2.

Newly released documents show the Cocoa Beach police chief on leave since February had been accused of bullying, abusive behavior and possible sexual harassment by several employees.

Chief of police since 2016, the city of Cocoa Beach says Scott Rosenfeld is now on leave from the department as of Feb. 17.
