A now-former Orange County deputy arrested earlier this year, accused of possessing child pornography, was re-arrested in Lake County, now accused of stalking the detective who obtained his original arrest warrant.

A 30-year-old man faces charges after a woman said he followed her to Central Florida from California and was “stalking her for months,” according to a charging affidavit.

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. A Flagler County sheriffs deputy who resigned earlier this month following his arrest in July on aggravated stalking charges has been arrested on additional charges, according to authorities. For the next three months, the Palm Coast man received 53 threatening phone calls from a blocked number. He abused his status as a law enforcement officer and we will do everything we can to have the state revoke his license so he can never work in law enforcement again. He has let down this community; he has embarrassed this agency and tarnished his badge and dishonored law enforcement officers everywhere. In my 45-years in law enforcement, this is the most bizarre behavior I have ever seen by a law enforcement officer.

EUSTIS, Fla. – A 71-year-old man repeatedly went to a teen girl’s work for several months, causing her to be so afraid for her safety that her coworkers would have to hide her when he arrived at the store, according to the Eustis Police Department. Police said Larry Yennior, 71, had been targeting the 17-year-old girl over the course of a year beginning in March 2019 when he noticed her at the grocery store where she works. According to documents, Yennior would go to the store and seek out the teen, even buying small, insignificant items so that he could go through her check-out lane. He’d ask the girl personal questions about her age and whether her parents would approve if they were to begin a romantic relationship, records show. Police said the behavior got so bad that employees would watch out for Yennior and when he entered the store they would say a code word over the intercom so the girl could hide.
