According to officials, out of an abundance of caution, the Capitol was closed to employees until 9 a.m. Tallahassee police said they located Mark Wayne Clark, 61, at a bar about 3 miles from the Capitol and took him into custody on a charge of making a false bomb threat against state property. Florida state workers were allowed to return to work at the Capitol following a sweep of the premises. Florida’s Capitol had been on heightened security since Sunday, when the country braced for potential violence at state capitals in all 50 states.

Seminole County Public Schools said a student made a threat to Millennium Middle School and authorities investigated the credibility of the claim. “There is no threat to the Millennium campus,” school officials said in an updated message sent to parents. There was an extra presence of law enforcement officials on campus due to the threat, which was deemed non-credible. At this time, law enforcement is presently investigating the credibility and source out of an abundance of caution.

Jaran Ali Rasanjani Tyrell, 29, was taken into custody Saturday after deputies identified him as the individual who made the phone calls and threats to the Muslim center. Deputies said Tyrell expressed his hatred and disdain for the Muslim community and certain individuals in that community during the call. Tyrell was arrested on an active arrest warrant and booked into the Osceola County Jail. He is charged with aggravated stalking/evidencing prejudice while committing an offense, officials said.
