Ocoee Police released photos of the shooting victims (Copyright 2021 by WKMG ClickOrlando - All rights reserved.) Prior to the shooting, the victims were last seen in the Ocala area near exit 358 along Interstate 75, according to police. “Today we are seeking not only the community’s help here in the Ocoee area, and the surrounding Orlando area, but we were also speaking to Marion County and to the city of Ocala and the Ocala area,” Nylander said. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Ocoee Police Department at 407-905-3160 or Crimeline at 800-423-8477.

As of Friday, the Florida Department of Health reported there have been 864 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in the county. There have been 46 COVID-19 deaths in Volusia County, 30 of those deaths have been residents or staff at long term care facilities, officials said. According to Patricia Boswell, Administrator, Florida Department of Health in Volusia County, the reason Floridians are seeing a spike in positive cases is because of increased testing. “Currently, Volusia County’s positivity rate over the past 14 days is 2.29%, a slight decrease from last week,” Boswell said.
