According to the Volusia Sheriffโs Office, 14-year-old girl Anaya Granger left her home in Deltona early Wednesday and has not returned. โGranger later sent a text message to her family indicating sheโs fine, but she still hasnโt returned home or let anyone know where she is,โ investigators said. Anyone with information about Granger is asked to call the Volusia County Sheriffโs Office at 386-248-1777.

Florida man arrested after shining laser at Volusia County Sheriffโs helicopter
EDGEWATER, Fla. โ An Edgewater man accused of pointing a laser at the Volusia Sheriffโs Office Air One helicopter is now facing a felony charge. The pilot told investigators this blinded him for around three to five minutes, describing the incident like having a flashbulb going off in front of his eye, according to a Volusia County Sheriffโs Office report. In the arrest video, Hutton told them he had a green laser pointer and is heard telling authorities he thought the helicopter was a drone. Hutton was taken to the Volusia County Branch Jail, where he posted a $5,000 bond.

According to officials, Marjorie Lawson Byron was last seen at her home on Seminole Drive late Saturday night. Deputies said Byron is about 5โฒ2โณ with grey/white hair and a thin build. Byron experiences memory loss and may not be able to answer questions,โ deputies said.
