MELBOURNE, Fla. – A woman was run over early Thursday in Brevard County in a road rage incident, police said.
The hit-and-run was reported at 2:10 a.m. near Race and Horne streets in Melbourne.

Melbourne police said officers were called to the area for a hit-and-run crash with serious injuries.
Witnesses told officers that a woman was intentionally run over by another woman in an incident stemming from road rage, according to police.
Melbourne police said Kathy Jones ran over the woman with a pickup truck, then drove away.
The pickup was spotted near Eau Gallie and South Harbor City boulevards and was stopped, police said. Jones was arrested on charges of aggravated battery with a motor vehicle.
The victim was taken to Holmes Regional Medical Center in stable condition, police said.
No other details have been released.
