The 47-year-old Brooksville man was riding the bicycle across the southbound lanes when the car furthest ahead on Orange Blossom Trail swerved to avoid him, according to a crash report.

The second car — driven by a 17-year-old Kissimmee boy who was uninjured in the crash — struck the man, who was later pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said.
