ORLANDO, Fla. – An area of low pressure almost midway between Cabo Verde Islands and Lesser Antilles continues to show signs of organization, although it’s a little less organized than yesterday according, to the latest outlook from the National Hurricane Center on Saturday evening.

Although the chance over the next few days is 40%, which is marginally conducive for development, gradual development is expected as it approaches the Lesser Antilles next week.
The NHC anticipates this system to likely become a tropical depression by early next week as it moves westward across the tropical Atlantic.
