ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida is off to its coldest start since January of last year with most areas in the 30s. With the help of some sunshine Sunday, highs rebound back to the 60s. The fly in the ointment, however, will be the breeze, at times gusting to 25 mph.
Monday will start cool, but much warmer than the weekend. Most of Central Florida will wake up in the 40s to near-50 degrees before a major warmup comes to Central Florida.
Monday afternoon starts the transition to warmer days. With a mix of sun and clouds, highs climb back to around 70.
By Wednesday Central Florida will be around 80 degrees.
Near-record warmth, mid-80s, arrives Thursday and Friday.
Rain chances will be much lower for a change during the week ahead with both Wednesday and Saturday featuring only a 20% shot for showers.
The unsettled weather looks to continue for the better part of the rest of winter.
