ORLANDO, Fla. – It is a very warm and breezy start to the workweek in Central Florida, all ahead of an approaching cold front.
Temperatures in the Orlando area will remain above normal on Monday, climbing into the mid-80s under partly cloudy skies. A southerly wind flow will pick up, with gusts up to 30 mph.

The timeline shows the front approaching east Central Florida just after sunset, with a few showers and an isolated thunderstorm. Coverage of rain sits at 50-60% for areas north of Orlando and 20% for the southern half.
Once the front clears, calm and mild weather returns for the rest of the week as high pressure sets back up.
Northwest winds gradually weaken a bit through Tuesday, but it will remain breezy at times at 10-15mph.
The most noticeable changes will be the cooler temperatures as highs will struggle to reach the low 70s on Tuesday.
The coldest morning will be Wednesday, with lows in the mid-40s for northern neighborhoods and upper 40s further south.
Temperatures will remain near normal through the week as highs hold in the mid- to low 70s.
