ORLANDO, Fla. – The unseasonably warm stretch of weather continues for another day in the Orlando area as a large ridge of high pressure remains in control of Florida.
Through Thursday afternoon, a weak sea breeze will develop, increasing a few clouds into the afternoon with winds picking up between 10-15 mph. Temperatures will max out in the mid- to upper 80s for inland zones and upper 70s to near 80 along the coast.

The quick temperature climb will get close to record-breaking territory by Saturday and Sunday as highs track toward 90 degrees.
Expect to see one of hottest St. Patrick’s Day in a while with areas like Sanford and Leesburg getting close to record highs.
Throughout the next several days, dry conditions will prevail as high pressure prevents any disturbances to get close. This weather setup begins to shift by Monday as the high finally weakens and allows another front to move into Central Florida.
Along the front, scattered showers and an isolated thunderstorm will move in along the front, with coverage up to 50% Monday afternoon and early evening.
Once the front clears, drier and much cooler air settles in, with highs for the first day of spring on Tuesday in the upper 60s to low 70s.
Long-range models show the cool snap being short-lived, with warmer and more humid conditions returning to the area by the end of next week.
