Warm front moves into Florida on Friday

ORLANDO, Fla. – It will be another pleasant day across Central Florida.

The Orlando-area on Thursday will see plenty of sun, with the humidity staying low. Afternoon highs are expected to warm into the lower 80s across inland cities and the middle- to upper 70s along the coast.

Winds are expected to remain out of the north between 5-10 mph before gradually picking up through the day.

A high rip current risk remains in place along the coast through the weekend.

Expect a pause in the rainfall around lunchtime, followed by another round during the afternoon and persisting into the evening.

The rain is expected to dissipate Friday night, with overnight lows dropping into the upper 60s.

Saturday, scattered rain is possible as a cold front moves through. Highs are expected to climb into the lower 80s and it will be breezy.

Cooler air begins to move in Sunday, which will be a sunny but windy day, with highs in the low to mid-70s.
