ORLANDO, Fla. – It’s going to be another scorcher with afternoon highs in the lower to middle 90s but with the high humidity, it’ll feel like the 102 to 109 degrees.
The humidity and the heat will stick around all week, with heat index values soaring between 102 to 107 degrees during the afternoons heading into the weekend.
We’re stuck in a weather pattern that’s not moving much, allowing sea breezes to spark afternoon storms.
The best chance for rain and storms will be along the sea breezes boundary, mainly along the I-4 corridor.
Since these storms won’t move much, they may hover over areas producing heavy rain and gusty winds before moving back toward the coast later in the evening.
With the stronger storms, threats include heavy rainfall, lightning, and gusty winds once again.
If you’re planning on being outside today, bring the umbrella and stay hydrated. It’s very easy to overheat while outside.
