Afternoon highs are expected to warm into the lower 90s and upper 80s across Central Florida. Tonight, conditions will turn drier, leading into a dry Friday.
Afternoon high temperatures on Friday are expected to be in the lower 90s with a 30% chance of showers and storms.
Rain chances remain low as we head into the weekend, with Sunday marking the first day of fall. The upcoming work week looks promising with continued dry conditions.
Pinpointing the tropics:
The National Hurricane Center highlights a medium chance for tropical development in the northwestern Caribbean Sea and southeastern Gulf of Mexico.
This area could develop into a tropical depression early next week. Additionally, there are two other areas in the Atlantic being monitored for development over the next 2 to 7 days.
