Here’s how each county’s pickup is affected by the hurricane:

BREVARD COUNTY

Tuesday, Oct. 8, residential service will begin at 5 a.m. for the following municipalities:

  • Brevard County, Town of Indialantic, City of Indian Harbour Beach, City of Melbourne, City of Satellite Beach and City of West Melbourne.

Please have items curbside prior to 5 a.m. We ask at this time that residents do not place any large, loose vegetative debris piles (clam piles) or bulky waste (i.e., furniture) curbside, as this is unlikely to be serviced before the storm.

Due to the approach of Hurricane Milton, and at the direction of Brevard County, WM will suspend all collection services on Wednesday, Oct. 9, and Thursday, Oct. 10. Please place your trash and recycling carts in a secure location away from open spaces.

Check here for service resumption schedules after the storm has passed.

FLAGLER COUNTY

Due to the anticipated arrival of Hurricane Milton, WastePro will not make trash or yard waste pick-ups in unincorporated Flagler County on Wednesday, Oct. 9, and Thursday, Oct. 10. Regular collection is anticipated to resume Friday, Oct. 11.
