FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – Flooding was already an issue in Flagler County before Hurricane Milton made landfall Wednesday, and as the storm moves closer to the Atlantic coast, residents worry the heavy rain and storm surge will exacerbate the problem.
News 6′s Treasure Roberts was in Palm Coast, where wind gusts are picking up. A curfew is underway in the county, and unless you had a legitimate reason to me outside, the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office said they would arrest you.
She also talked to one community in Flagler Beach where flooding is a problem on regular rainy days, and they are bracing for the worst. They said officials were not properly dealing with drainage in the area.
